Short Reels is a new series for Small Stream Salmon Fishing in 2008 produced by Pacific Ghost Productions. In this short clip Matthew Clark will lightly show a method for fishing steelhead jigs on a fly rod with the use of a large strike indicator. Low light made for tough film capture on this mid December day. Although only a small pilot run of steelhead had returned to the river so far, Matthew was still able to land his first winter steelhead of the season in low and clear conditions with the method shown.
