Our forum is down until we get a better forum program. We are having trouble with it and may be loosing dozens of new members each month. I apologize to you all for wasting your time registering : ( ... I hope that when we get the new package you will join again. We will have moderators then as well to help with making sure new members are acknowledged. The new forum will be based with the our new SSSF web site so that we actually have something to talk about. Be ready for fisheries conservation minded topics. I am not concerned about were they are biting half as much as if they will still be around in 20 years to fish for. The new forum will be for the entire Northwest region that the sites within my network cover and beyond. PGP has friends who care about fisheries all over the country.

8/02/07 PGP Action Short FIlm #8 Blood in the Boat is released!!! You will not want to miss this one! Friend and pro guide David Johnson takes a day off and asks me to join him and Andy "Coho" Schneider for a day of fishing drift boat style for spring chinook. I had been waiting for an opportunity to teach back bouncing and plug methods and on this day we would get both. David and Andy are always such a pleasure to fish with and to be able to share the learning from our day with everyone is an even greater bonus! Even if you have your methods down I urge you to take a look at this short film, you will not be disappointed. Plenty of chromer nooker action with loads of methods and tips all in one 20 minute package.

7/12/07 SSSF Bobber Fishing Tips video loaded. In the first week this video was watched over 700 times! Tips for line control, gear selection, and bait rigging are all included in the video. Response so far has been very good! Next release is a film for the ASF series with some spring time nooker fishing with 2 very awsome guests.

6/29/07 Coastal Fall Chinook-PGP Action Short Film #5 with special guest Mark Anderson [First Bite Jigs] will hit the tube with 4 showings in August. Although you may have seen this on my web site its pretty cool to see them full size on the TV. Mark was a great guest and did a very nice job on a beautiful nooker he nailed on a First Bite salmon jig under a float. Local Portland Comcast Cable Channels 21 & 11.... Friday, August 10th at 10:00 PM CH 21- Saturday, August 11th at 3:00 PM CH 21- Friday, August 17th at 7:00 PM CH 21- Saturday, August 18th at 2:00 PM CH 11 Thanks for watching! Response to "Claws In The Sand" was outstanding to my surprise! I am working on a back bouncing film right now with 2 very special guests. After you see this you will have a clear understanding of how backbouncing works and as always you will see plenty of proof that it works. I have some film I shot recently for a small/short bobber fishing tips Qwick Clip as well. More later folks and as always thanks a bunch for dropping by : )

6/08/07 PGP Action Short Film #7 Claws In The Sand is released!!! A great family oriented film that will teach you how to collect sand shrimp/ghost shrimp from coastal bays with a shrimp gun. A great way to gather bait and spend the day with your family at the beach. We had alot of fun making this film! A showcase of coastal wildlife and scenery with music by acoustic artist Andy McKee. Visit our movies page to view the film. Also Please do not forget that our first TV date airs tommorow Saturday June 9th 3:00 PM!!! Comcast cable channels 21.

5/01/07 PACIFIC GHOST PRODUCTIONS ON TV!!! OK we have our playback dates for the first "Action Short Film" we have released to Metro East Cablecast for TV viewing. I have chosen #4 "Wild Coastal Salmon" for this first run. Sat. June 9th 3:00 PM CH 21/ Tue. June 12th 9:00 PM CH 21/ Fri. June 15th 4:30 PM CH 21/ Fri. June 22 6:00 PM CH 11... Channels 11 & 21 are Metro East Community Media channels and are only shown on Comcast cable. I decided the use PGP ASF #4 Wild Coastal Salmon because it is a good one to start with. I want to make sure we have all the details about doing this TV stuff down before I put up #5 and #6 ASF and any other future films. I am trying to get setup as a series producer so that the time slot remains the same month to month but I can not do this until May. I am submitting #5 this week but the times will be different and will be shown in July. By August we should have a solid time slot.

4/28/07 New Qwick Clip "3oz Bobber Rigging for Chinook Salmon" released! With the spring chinook season upon us I decided I wanted to show how I rig a 3oz bobber system for those big deep holes that are so hard to drift fish. I have used this system for many many years and would have caught alot less fish without it. Nookers in those holes are always suspended between 10 and 18 feet and the bobber system carrys the bait right through them. I invite you to view the lastest film in the Qwick Clips series called "3oz Bobber Rigging for Chinook Salmon" and learn exactly how we do that. I wanted to include more tips in the film but it ran 10:00 as it was so I could show how to tie your own bobber knot with 20 lb fly line backing and rig the weight dropper so in the event you hang up you will only loose a cannon ball and not the whole system. I will make another one called "3oz Bobber Fishing Tips" as soon as I can get to it. For now check it out and then go get yourself a spring chinook, one of the finest eating fish there is! I am also excited to say that I have obtained film for 2 more additional "Action Short Films" so far this spring. I have some great Willamette action thanks to David Johnson a true expert boat angler to say the least. David pays attention to every single detail you could imagine to make sure that even on the hardest days he is putting at least a few on the boat. I can not wait to produce this film but IM going to wait till the season is over incase there is more to add to the film.

4/07/07 Pacific Ghost Productions has PROUDLY become an www.IFISH.net Sponsor! This is great news and we would like to thank Jennie Logsdon Martin for her help and kindness. Jennie and the mods run a great web forum that has become the largest Northwest outdoors message board there is. We are excited to be a part of this great gathering of outdoorsmen and women! Do not forget that the Wilson River Steelhead film has been released. You can visit our movies page and view the film for free!

4/05/07 Wilson River Steelhead PGP Action Short film #6 released!!! Go to Movies page to view now! I could hardly contain myself waiting for this day. Certain to be one of our best and most viewed films so far. I have also added a Qwick Clip called "Fastest Drift Rig In The West" An illustration of a simple easy to reconnect drift rig you can throw on any rod including a fly rod in less then 1 minute. Some nice C&R footage in the clip as well. PGP Qwick Clips to illustrate 3oz bobber rig and how to tie a direct mainline drift rig are also in the works and coming soon. We have submited PGP Action Short Film #4 Wild Coastal Salmon to local CAN networks for TV viewing. I will list dates, channels, and times when available. The first of many to be submited throughout the year as a series producer!

3/27/07 TONIGHT I am adding the "Sand Shrimp Rigging" film that shows how I and many other good friends rig our bait to stay on for many many casts. Shrimp & Roe Cocktail rigging included. The method can be used for ALL types of fishing including drift, bobber, and bottom fishing for all shrimp eating fish. Can be used in fresh OR salt water. Do not forget!!! PGP Action Short Film #6 Wilson River Steelhead is complete! Release date: Friday April 6th 5:00 PM. PST!!!

3/12/07 PGP Action Short Film #6 Wilson River Steelhead is complete! Release date: April 6th 5:00 PM. For now I am posting Qwick Clip #3 entitled "No Foul Method" that will show how to fish through a huge stack of coho with a fly rod and not foul hook any fish. Leaving only the biters this method keeps the fish from spooking as well. Only 5 minutes long but is a lifetime of experiance on fishing coho with fly rods the humane way.

We are looking for sponsorship from outdoor company’s based in Oregon or the pacific northwest in general and would use such sponsorships as a continued learning experience that would benefit both the sponsors and newcomers to the challenge of the outdoor experiance.
