When I started Pacific Ghost Productions in northern Oregon, the focus of intent was to be wildlife and archery hunt films with a touch of reality. I had also intended these movies to be inspirational as well as educational to all ages of hunters and outdoor photographers. This last year while on a fishing trip with my video camera near my home town I experienced a low water day where salmon were thick and on the move. I have fished for many years and held an Oregon guide license for a time as well but this day would prove to be different. On this day I was packing my fly rod and targeting the fish as they moved upstream like I had always done. After 6 hours of great fishing and video I decided to return again for the next few days and then continue to follow these salmon as they moved into the upper river areas. Small Stream Salmon Fishing & Qwick Clips series was born of this unforgettable week and thus moved PGP into the realm of outdoor angling films. A week later I also started editing loose video to create the PGP Action Short Film series for educational yet entertaining web content for the web site you are visiting now. I had decided that I would permanently add our angling ventures into the Pacific Ghost Productions line-up. So now what does the future hold for PGP? This great state of Oregon has so many opportunities to hunt and fish that I am always on the lookout for the next film. I do prefer the educational movie type format as opposed to the "we use this gear" run of the mill over promote your product fishing shows. I will try to keep these ideals intact as long as possible and still try to obtain sponsorships from various Northwest based companies. That being said, I sincerely hope that you will all continue to enjoy, support, and learn with us on our unforgettable video ventures.
