PGP Action Short Film #9 Astoria C&R Gator's (24:00)
Absolute bonkers catch & release sturgeon fishing in Astoria Oregon with my family and Kevin Newells family. If double and triple hookups for hours were not enough the day would top out with 7 and 10 foot fish released! I was very impressed with Kevin and Lacy's knowledge of not only the fishing but the fishing industry itself. Lots of firsts for the Lady’s on board this day, well all I can say is "Holy Friggin Barrel!" Our first film release of the New Year!!! Enjoy!

PGP Action Short Film #8. Blood in the Boat (20:00)
You will not want to miss this one! Friend and pro guide David Johnson takes a day off and asks me to join him and Andy "Coho" Schneider for a day fishing drift of boat style for spring chinook. I had been waiting for an opportunity to teach back bouncing and plug methods and on this day we would get both. David and Andy are always such a pleasure to fish with and to be able to share the learning from our day with everyone is an even greater bonus! Even if you have your methods down I urge you to take a look at this short film, you will not be disappointed. Plenty of chromer nooker action with loads of methods and tips all in one 20 minute package.

Nothing I love more then a day at the beach with my family and friends! Freeze fresh caught shrimp the night you get them you will have fishable tails. You can always add shrimp scent oil to them after they thaw out. For long term storage cover in Borax to avoid freezer burn.

The Wilson river yields 4 beautiful February steelhead for Mike Braun and I as we work through the upper river with jig & bobber. Mike employs special drift fishing tactics for the day you just might want to check out. Along with 2 chrome natives a very nice 36 inch broodstock metalhead is caught and released on a steelhead jig MC style. I could hardly contain myself waiting to release this film to our viewers and finaly here it is. ENJOY!!!

PGP Action Short #5 Coastal Fall Chinook (19:19)
Late in 2006 I had the pleasure of a raft trip with Mark Anderson [Owner of First Bite Jigs] on the Oregon coast for fall chinook. Rains had left the coastal rivers high for weeks and as they began to fall into the "perfect green" we would hook several nice fish on a variety of bait and tackle. Mark shows us an awsome hen caught and released on a pink salmon jig fished under a float. A very memorable day and a beautiful short film that was a pleasure to experiance and to produce.

PGP Action Short #4 Wild Coastal Salmon (20:05)
Reel burning, gut busting monster wild coastal Coho steal the show in this one. On a day when the primary target was Chinook that had been thick the week before, the incidental Coho prove themselves to be on the move and simply to thick too avoid without going home. I take one of the largest Coho I have ever caught, he’s a beauty! It is always amazing to me how much harder the wild fish fight. This has been a great year for big fish and this film is the proof of that.

PGP Action Short #3 Opening Day Archery 2006 (14:16)
A delightful film about a few days in the Mount Hood National Forest with bow in hand. No kills are made as several does are passed on. I wanted this film to showcase the experience of the hunt and the camp rather then the kill. Holding out for the big buck we take no shots but there is something to be said for the time we spend in the woods no matter what the outcome. I think all Archery hunters know what I’m talking about. I can’t wait for the next hunt.

PGP Action Short #2 Late Season Day (16:04)
This film is more educational based then the Coho Demo. This takes place on a day later in the season when waiting stacks of fish blast hard after a rain brings the rivers up to a perfect flow. A mix of both bright and dark fish show as they make their way into the home tributary. Fly rod drift fishing tactics are in full play along with footage of huge packs of fish splashing their way upstream. Filmed on Oregons Clackamas River.

QWICK CLIPS
3oz Bobber Rigging for Chinook Salmon PGP QC #6 (10:00)
How to set up a 3oz bobber system for fishing in big deep boily holes. Chinook like to suspend in these types of holes at the 10 to 18 foot level. Drift rigs will only fall through the fish but this system will carry the bait right to their faces. I have caught many hundreds of spring and fall chinook salmon over the last 16 years fishing this way and now its your turn to learn how to do it.

No Foul Hook Method PGP QC #3 (7:22)
The world was not ready for this film. Having had my moral and ethical values questioned over this film I realized that people who knew me had approved the film for release but I had not considered one thing. The rest of the world did not know me. I am currently undecided as to if I will let this film ride again for very long. I had hoped to show a method to relax foul hooking and snagging problems that occure in well fished stack holes by anglers with the typical jackass mantality. I have grown tired of snaggers and foul hookers in low water. I felt that if people with honor about them did learn this method that they could set an example for others to follow. What people saw was dark fish, flossing, and someone to call unethical. God forbid that fly rodding has now become unethical. I assure you that I will be working over time to disprove this way of thinking throughout the course of this year. Please read film intro text before viewing.

Eagle Creek Summer PGP QC #2 (5:18)
Qwick clip template film. Catch and release of a stray summer run steelhead that shows up in Eagle Creek. Not all that uncommon but makes for a nice little high water segment. A fly rod with a drift rig is used for this C&R clip. Eagle creek can get as many as 200 of these stray cats on any given year but are not planted or natural to the creek.

PACIFIC GHOST PRODUCTIONS FILM SHORTS
Ohh Darn 1942 (1942 version) (5:55)
The official Videography Fish on Fish off Music video of 2006 killed, grilled, gutted, and reborn. I took what I felt was our worst production project of 2006 and murdered it with a Ted Nugent broadhead real bad like. This is what became of it when it resurfaced once again somewhere near Honolulu lookin like an old Fred Bear Theater flick. I think I kinda like it now...Several cool old film effects where created during the surgery of Ohh Darn for an upcoming feature film.

WILDLIFE FILM SHORTS
Rivers of Life (Film Version) (16:13)
A Practice film with no gain of any sort intended. Filmed in the Columbia river basin. A beautiful showcase of salmon footage and music set the stage for the return home of the Pacific salmon. Starting at the river mouths they begin to gather and stack in numbers almost unbelievable. They choke themselves at the head of the stream and then begin to blast to their spawn beds. Completing their cycle of life they spawn and decay with only death as the reality of their demise. The music in this film is amazing and if any gain is made of this film, I sincerely hope it is only for the musicians whom are fully credited in the end of the film.

All We Do Is Eat (3:58)
Imagine spending over 100 hours with a herd of black tail deer to learn their secrets only to discover that all they want to do is eat the forest until its gone! Then you realize that you have way too much film of them munching ferns, trees, grass, and other green shrubs and have no idea what to do with it. Well this is the ultimate answer! This film was created earlier in the year just before the fawns were born and could be called the hungriest deer film you have ever seen. Music by David Byrne.

A Walk in the Park (7:20)
Dreams do come true. One young womans dream to walk with and photograph the blacktail deer. Often times ones disability is only limited by ones own mind. With enough heart and soul you can do anything you want to in life no matter how hard the terrain. Resulting in stunning photographs Christina is surrounded by playful deer on a warm spring eve. I was blessed to capture this moment for her as a dream came true.

Something pretty to look at with colorized views from all over the western side of Oregon. Purple Moon Deer Dreams (3:39)
An early film that was created as a test for digital art film making. If deer were alien and existed on a purple moon in a distant galaxy it would look something like this. Set to a bossa nova beat and with many film effects added it is one of my favorite films of all time that PGP created. I have shown this to many people myself from DVD format and the reviews are certainly mixed but are you the kind of person that can handle this sort of thing? Let me know. Enjoy!
